Boy Hacked Nasa Website

From a quiet corner of Jhenaigati in Sherpur to the digital frontlines of NASA and Sony, 17-year-old Md Shariar Shahnawaz Shuvon—better known as “shuvonsec”—is rewriting the story of Bangladesh’s presence in global cybersecurity. Currently pursuing a diploma in Information Technology at the University of Cyberjaya in Malaysia, Shuvon has already earned recognition from tech giants like NASA, Meta, Amazon, and Google for identifying and reporting critical vulnerabilities in their systems. His work is part of what’s known as the “bug bounty” program, where companies reward ethical hackers for responsibly disclosing security flaws—either with official appreciation letters or financial rewards. NASA’s Hall of Fame has previously featured several young talents from Bangladesh, and Shuvon now adds his name to that growing list. He has also contributed to programs like HackerOne and continues to strengthen global digital security. Passionate about sharing knowledge, he provides free learning resources, checklists, and payload libraries through his website and GitHub. With the motto “I don’t learn to hack, I hack to learn,” Shuvon is part of a new wave of ethical hackers helping shape a safer internet from the Global South.
